Tram #2

Some wet work this morning....wood filler, dirt, coffee grinds, ballast and pva, with some odds and sods. Have slightly narrowed the base and added cobbles and a lamppost so we can determine front or back.
 This needs to set for a day or so and then I will probably do a primer coat to see where we are and then add detailing, am anticipating sandbags somewhere....

Removable roof works quite well...

Whilst not wishing to prevent a potential sale, Going to be a stretch for Normandy I think......

Looks great, did you carve the cobbles in to the surface?

Cheers Wayne, not this time, cobbles are made using a textured roller from small scale world, this time “15mm cobbles” but I don’t think looks too out of place. An earlier post shows the larger cobbles, still not perfected the technique, combination of letting the putty set enough, rolled thickness and talc application, but a lot easier than carving in foam board. Am in the middle of another heavy German A/T piece, this time going for unmetaled road, but that’s under wraps at moment

There was a tram system in Rouen Neil but not just for Normandy as Andy has purchased a late war russian force for Posen and berlin.damn is2s

Actually Neil in the defence of pozen the Germans had a single tiger1 that was used in a fire fighting role when the Russians were looking like breaching areas of the defensive circle of the inner city.untill it was disabled and used as a pillbox
