Tinkering with.. M7 Priest “Kangaroo” #2

Busy weekend, finished some of my best work, both painting and conversions, all boxed and away tomorrow, pics mid week....

Been working on some LVT’s and these... been shelved for a while but now the heavy lift work is done and it’s just the detailing and crew sabots to sort out. The blurb about the conversion is on a previous post, so this is just a mid process update....

Want to pack infantry in there, so have some more metal coming in the post, these will be removable as per my usual style.

These were more work than originally envisaged, even more than the Tiger B engine deck swaps, but they’ll look great once done. Yes stretcher chap in there, have ordered some more metals as the plastic set is very limited, unless you Want fighting from inside the kangaroo poses! And with all those cartoon angry heads!

Started on the stowage, see new pictures attached, also finished building the deployed SBG.... got to work out the mechanics of detachable block and tackle for the AVRE, but won’t be long

I wasn’t really liking these to start with... the warlord Priest is fairly cartoony and the brigade games one is a nightmare to make good... I suppose destroying the majority of it has got rid of those problems... but am Really liking them now, and will be great when all crewed up. The avre with SBG is going to be the bees knees, but it deserves its own post...,,
